The V8 350 class is the entry level class of Jetsprinting that is restricted heavily to ensure a fair and affordable level of racing for all competitors. The boats are mainly restricted to engines utilising commonly found manufactured parts that mostly must remain original.

V8 350 Class is restricted in engine size to 360 cubic inches utilizing cast iron blocks and cylinder heads with a maximum of eight cylinders. The cylinder heads are restricted to two valves per cylinder. A wet sump lubrication system must be used. Induction is by a restricted carburetor, and fuel must be commercially available petrol or Avgas. A V8 350 class specification engine is capable of producing in excess of 500 horsepower.
