The Australian Formula Jet Sprint Association [AFJSA] has revealed their calendar for the 2024/24 Australian V8 Superboats Championship, a five round schedule stretching from July 2024 until April 2025, with a five-month mid-season break to allow for the 2025 UIM World Series in New Zealand in late January and early February.

With the logistics of sending boats and equipment across the Tasman, aligned with the large contingent of Australian teams set to join the World Series, the AFJSA elected to split the calendar with a view to accommodating those teams.

The new calendar will feature two events at Round Mountain Raceway (Cabarita), two at Lake Centenary in Temora and a single round at Keith in South Australia on their March Show date.

Negotiations with the Griffith Club saw a decision to rest the Lake Wyangan event for 12-months after dates outside of their traditional February/March window became unavailable, however for those teams that will not be travelling to New Zealand, Round Mountain Raceway has proposed a number of Club Days at Cabarita between October and December to keep the Australian teams active outside of the Australian Championship rounds.
